Join the Open Space Council for the first annual Autumn Amble. We will hike an easy 6-7 mile trail, enjoy the autumn colors and learn about one of St. Louis’ open spaces, Columbia Bottom Conservation Area. The hike will consist of the loop beginning at the Boat Ramp along the Confluence Trail and will continue onto the River’s Edge Trail. Our hike will include a stop at the Confluence of the Missouri and Mississippi Rivers at the half-way point. We will have two naturalists to guide us and provide fascinating information on the local wildlife and plant life. Bring binoculars for birdwatching and a nature journal if you have them!
Please meet at the Columbia Bottom Visitor’s Center at 9:00am. Rain will cancel the event.
