On 12/20/11 St. Louis County Council approved the budget for 2012, which allows the regional parks system to remain open. "All departments took at least a 1 percent cut — and parks took more... The Parks Department budget takes the biggest hit, with a cut to $22.6 million from $26 million." To read more about budget specifics, click here. We would like to thank each and every one of you for supporting our St. Louis County Parks during the past couple of months. We couldn't have made the impact we did without your time and dedication in rallying, gathering signatures for our petitions, and making public comments to the Council. We hope you had a very happy holiday season and wonderful new year! |
