Spend the day with community, friends and family celebrating the gift of the Missouri River in Washington, Missouri with the: "Washington River Festival and Missouri River Clean-Up" on Saturday, April 17th at Rennick Riverfront Park at Lafayette and Front Streets in Washington. Fun, hands-on educational activities will be featured including a sun print activity, seed planting, making a whirligig, learning about the history of the Missouri River through photos and stories and LOTS more! There will be a World Bird Sanctuary presentation, live bands, delicious food and a "Trash to Art" sculpture auction!
The clean-up is from 9 am until noon and the festival is from 11 am until 6 pm, ending with an old-time dance with live music.
