Autumn Amble

Join the Open Space Council for the first annual Autumn Amble. We will hike an easy 6-7 mile trail, enjoy the autumn colors and learn about one of St. Louis’ open spaces, Columbia Bottom Conservation Area. The hike will consist of the loop beginning at the Boat Ramp along the Confluence Trail and will continue onto the River’s Edge Trail. Our hike will include a stop at the Confluence of the Missouri and Mississippi Rivers at the half-way point. We will have two naturalists to guide us and provide fascinating information on the local wildlife and plant life. Bring binoculars for birdwatching and a nature journal if you have them!

Please meet at the Columbia Bottom Visitor’s Center at 9:00am. Rain will cancel the event.

For more information on Columbia Bottom Conservation Area, click here.

All ages are welcome, though the hike may be too long for little ones.

To register, please email Amy or call 636-334-3035.

Directions to Columbia Bottom Conservation Area:
To reach the area, go north approximately 2.8 miles from the I-270 Riverview Drive exit. Riverview Drive becomes Columbia Bottom Road at its intersection with Larimore Road. Columbia Bottom Conservation Area will be on your right.
