Volunteer
The Open Space Council for the St. Louis Region continues an almost half-century legacy of preserving, protecting and sustaining land and waterways.  Through our programs like Operation Clean Stream and Operation Wild Lands, we connect youth, families and communities to the great outdoors.

When people ask us why we do what we do, the answer is simple: we want to ensure all the natural wonders we enjoy today are protected and passed down to the wonders of tomorrow.

Below are some upcoming opportunities to get involved!

Join us for a cleanup on Simpson Lake and along the Meramec Greenway on October 4th from 9am-12 noon.  Participants will have the opportunity to clean up the lake from a kayak or canoe and walk along the shore and greenway to remove litter and trash.  We will also sort the trash and separate so that some of it can be recycled.  Click button below to register.  Must be ages 16+.
